SAPediaA series of mini-lessons about SAP terminology and the SCEIS project Identified RolesYour authorizations in SCEIS will be delineated by roles, each one a collection of SAP transactions. An employee may be assigned several roles, based on the responsibilities in his or her job. A preliminary listing of defined roles is shown below. More roles may be added, as SCEIS development work continues. As your agency nears its go-live date, the SCEIS project team will work closely with you to map your employees' work responsibilities to their roles. That role-mapping is crucial to identifying the training courses each employee will take, and the SCEIS security authorizations each will be assigned.
